Our client, a manufacturing company based in Leitrim require a Software J2EE Developer on a 12 month contract basis. Requirements: 1+ years’ experience in hands-on J2EE development. In-depth knowledge of J2EE web tier components and extensive experience in both the server and client side development. Solid experience with Object Oriented design concepts, patterns and software architecture. Degree in computer science or related field; Good verbal and written communication skills, Customer focused with proven track record in current role. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Min Degree in Computer Science or closely related discipline; Be legally permitted to work in the EU. Desirable Criteria. In-depth knowledge of J2EE web tier components and extensive experience in both the server and client side development. Experience in working with Functional & Technical Specification documents and providing input into system architecture decisions. Experience in clean UI design using HTML5 & CSS. Experience with automated build tools such as Ant, Gradle, Git, Jenkins. Experience with the Grails Web Development Framework. Experience with test driven development (jUnit, Spock, etc.) Experience with Tomcat, PostgreSQL and IntelliJ IDEA IDE. Experience working in bash shell would be an advantage.
