Shift Leader - Injection Moulding. Role Type: Permanent. Location: Leitrim/Sligo. Need to know: This is mostly a Supervisory position but also this person needs to have experience with polymer and injection moulding operations, possibly a Tool-Setter background. Shift roster in place across days/nights. Good salary and benefits package on offer. Reporting to the Moulding Manager, the primary function of the Shift Leader role is to supervise and direct shift activities of Injection Moulding Department, ensuring quality and delivery requirements, according to Company policies, procedures and safety. Essential Functions: • Manage employee / team daily activities and performance. • Ensure equipment, machinery, tools & gauges are maintained in working order. • Installation and setup of injection mould tools. • Production planning and mould scheduling. • Enforce safety rules and regulations. • Trouble-shooting - machines / moulds. Functional Competencies: • Recognised relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience. • Supervisory experience desirable. • Ability to communicate and train others in use of all injection moulding machinery. • Strong communication skills.
