What you need to know. You will work as an Extrusion Team Leader and will work for our medical device client based in the Co. Leitrim region. This is a permanent position with excellent opportunities for career progression within a large organisation. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities. Supervision of extrusion lines to ensure all company objectives are achieved. Supervision of the day to day extrusion department and ensure extrusion technicians achieve daily targets. Training, development and motivation of extrusion staff and coordinate daily tasks to technicians. Ensure the extrusion cleanroom house-keeping is maintained at a high level and ensure 5S activities are sustained. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities. Provide training and upskilling as required. Ensure production targets are achieved and reviewed on a continuous basis’s. Ensure that process controls are documented and adhered too. Support NPI’s and change controls. Resource optimization and planning. What are we looking for? Desirable: Diploma/Certification in Engineering/Science or related discipline. 2-3 years’ experience ideally in medical devices/pharma environment. Experience as a team leader or supervisor.
